Calligraphy classes and events
It’s such a joy to practice calligraphy, especially trying out a variety of tools and creating different styles and effects. I’ve seen my own skills and techniques improve over the last 10 years I’ve been doing it. That’s why I’m pleased to be able to share my passion for calligraphy with other people, whether that’s doing live demonstrations or during classes where I provide one to one support.
I host a variety of events, but the majority of my activity is around the Christmas period, when I run festive workshops in and around Manchester. The workshops are usually small sizes, from 5 to 20 attendees, depending on the size of the venue. They are designed to be intimate and welcoming, so that guests feel relaxed.
What to expect from a Calligraphy class
- Practice sheets to learn the modern calligraphy alphabet using brush pens
- Relaxed and cosy venues
- Venues accessible by public transport
- All materials provided, including a Pentel brush pen and practise materials to take home
- 1 to 2 hour sessions
- 1:1 support from Steph
